Flu
Vaccinations Fall 2010:
This Fall we
will be offering the flu vaccine in our clinics
and at various community sites.
For the first
time, the flu vaccine is now recommended for
everyone over the age of 6 months.
The coming flu
vaccine will cover the 3 most common viruses
including the 2009 H1N1 (Swine Flu) virus.
Only one dose is necessary for all people to be
protected.
Lincoln County
Public Health will not be offering the
New High Dose vaccine that is licensed for those
65 years and older. Please contact your
private medical provider if you are interested in
getting the high dose vaccine instead of the
regular dose vaccine.
Please continue to
check our website and flu hotline
541-265-0416 for up-to-date information.
