Don't bring the flu home during the holidays!

Where to get a flu and pneumonia shot:

Flu and pneumonia shots are now available, by walk-in at the Lincoln County Health and Human Services Clinic, located at 36 SW Nye Street in Newport. Non-scheduled appointments dates and times: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

You can also call if you would like to schedule an appointment time to get a shot: (541) 265-6611 ext: 4947. Office hours are, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Cost:

Flu shots:

all kids (6 months-18 years) $15.00
adults $28.00

Pneumonia shots:

$41.00

Insurance: Lincoln County Health and Human Services will bill only: Medicare, Oregon Health Plan (OHP), Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Oregon, and Samaritan Health Services.

YOU MUST BRING YOUR INSURANCE CARD.

Lincoln County Health and Human Services, in partnership with Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), will be coordinating the flu and pneumonia shot clinics this year. Volunteers from RSVP of Lincoln County and retired nurses from the community will also be helping us to staff and run our many clinics.

HOMEBOUND Clients: Shrinking county resources have made it necessary for us to carefully screen those clients who can receive their flu and pneumonia shots at our public clinics from those who are truly homebound. Council on Aging will be providing this screening service and can be reached at 574-2684. Homebound services are complete for year 2007.
